    We have a winner!

Spin the wheel in three steps

First, type your options into the Entries box, one per line. Second, give the wheel a title so everyone knows what it is deciding. Third, click the wheel or press Space and watch it spin to a stop.

You can load ready-made wheels from the preset menu, including yes or no, random numbers, raffle tickets, team picker and what to eat.

    A fair spinner, every time

The result is chosen with a cryptographically secure random number before the wheel even moves. Each option takes up an equal slice and has an equal chance, no matter where the wheel started or how many times you spin.

If you want to see the whole story, the results history keeps a running list of every spin on this device.

Great for parties, classrooms and streams

Turn on Event mode for a full-screen wheel with large text that reads well on a projector or TV. Sound and confetti make the moment feel like a game show, and you can mute the sound with one click for quiet rooms.

Use the Share wheel button to send your exact wheel to friends or students, so everyone can spin the same options on their own device.

    Tips for better wheels

Keep each option short so it fits on the slice. To weight an option, add it twice. Use Shuffle to mix up the order of the slices, or Sort to put them in alphabetical and numeric order.

    Private by design

Fair Wheel Picker is a static web page. The wheel, the random pick, the sound and the confetti all run in your browser. There is no account, no database and no upload. Your entries and history are stored in your browser's local storage so they are still there next time, and you can wipe them at any time by clearing the entries and history.

    Frequently asked questions

    Are my entries uploaded anywhere?

No. Fair Wheel Picker runs entirely in your browser. Entries are kept in your browser storage on this device only, and shared links carry the wheel inside the part of the URL after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server.

    Is the result really random?

Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the animation starts, and every slice has exactly the same chance. The spin animation simply lands on the slice that was picked.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is completely free and there is no sign-up. Open the page, type your entries and spin. Your wheel is remembered on this device for next time.

Can I give one option a better chance?

Add that option more than once. Each line is one equal slice, so an option listed twice has double the chance.

How long does the wheel spin?

Five seconds by default. Use the Spin time slider to choose anything from 1 to 15 seconds.

Can I use it full screen?

Yes. Event mode hides the editor and fills the screen with the wheel. Press Esc to leave.
